The Labelmaster Family hopes everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and was able to enjoy a safe and healthy end-of-summer holiday. As we all return back to work and our children head back to school, let’s keep working together to end the COVID-19 pandemic. And remember—in many places, many more children will be out and about much earlier in the morning than we may have seen them out for some time. Let’s all be extra careful as we get used to schools being open again. It was a pretty quiet week in the regulatory world; here’s the latest items:

FMCSA
The agency requested approval to revise and renew an ICR titled, ‘‘Commercial Driver Licensing and Test Standards,’’ due to an increase in the number of commercial driver’s license records. The agency states that this ICR is needed to “ensure that drivers, motor carriers and the States are complying with notification and recordkeeping requirements for information related to testing, licensing, violations, convictions, and disqualifications and that the information is accurate, complete, transmitted, and recorded within certain time periods as required by the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1986 (CMVSA), as amended.” Comments are due on or before November 2, 2021.
