An English hard-copy version of the latest edition of the IMDG Code, Amendment 37-14 will become available to users in November 2014 pursuant to an announcement made by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Shortly following in early 2015 will be the release of the French and Spanish issues. An updated Supplement will also be printed. The online web edition of the IMDG Code will remain accessible throughout 2015 and will include both Amendment 37-14 and 36-12.
The new IMDG Code becomes mandatory for use starting on January 1, 2016; however, the new version can be employed for use as early as January 1, 2015. http://www.hazardouscargo.com/content/new-imdg-code-available-november
