The Consumer Product Safety Commission is busy with lithium battery activity this week, including a comment hearing on a new safety rule as well as an ICR related to button cells. CPSC
The Commission is holding a public hearing to accept comments on its current effort to draft a rule regarding safety standards for lithium ion batteries in micro-mobility devices and other retail level application. The Commission has also promulgated an ICR related to its existing safety standards for button cell lithium batteries in retail level products. See this ICR here:

OSHA
The agency issued an ICR related to its Formaldehyde Safety Standard. Formaldehyde, while not as prevalent in industry settings as it once was, is still used in some applications. See the ICR here:
