DG Digest: IATA published its annual list of significant changes to the upcoming edition (the 67th) of the DGR.

Hopefully, everyone had an enjoyable Labor Day end-of-summer holiday. It all went by too fast! It also means that the kids are back in school almost everywhere now, so let’s all remember to be extra careful on the roads as we get used to yet another school year.

The 2026 edition of the IATA DGR (the 67th) will become effective at the New Year, and the Association has published its annual notice of upcoming significant changes contained in the new edition. Among the standout items:

  • changes to state and operator variations/limitations
  • revisions to the carriage of batteries by passengers and crew
  • edits to the DGL and SP list, and;
  • changes to the appendices
