
This last weekend saw the US implement the annual (at least for now) “Spring forward” time change, advancing the clocks one hour. Studies show that it usually takes the average person about a week to adjust their biorhythms to the new normal. You can ease your way in by getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, and getting some exercise—maybe an evening walk in that newly available daylight after supper! Here’s the week’s regulatory news:
PHMSA
The agency announced renewals of four different sets of hazmat information collections on a single ICR notice this week. The various subjects are:
- Packaging test documentation and design approvals
- Shipping paper treatment of subsidiary hazards
- Issues surrounding rail tank cars
- Oil spill response plans in transport applications
