The agency issued a correction related to its rule governing drug & alcohol testing for repair station employees located overseas. See the change here.
U.S. DOT Civil Penalty Amounts
The DOT published an end of year revision to its civil penalty fee amounts. These are basically the fines charged for various violations of the regulations. The revisions this time affect the modal agencies; FAA, FMCSA, and the FRA, as well as the Maritime Administration. PHMSA, which governs DG transport, is also affected, with new penalty amounts listed. See all the affected fees right here:
