DG Digest: DOT publishes ‘Chart 17’ for guidance on labels, marks, and placards enforcement

Mid-July is here already, and in keeping with the idea that summer is supposed to be a little lazy, not too much went on this week in terms of the regs.  So let’s all enjoy the break together!  Here’s the latest:

U.S. DOT

The department has published ‘Chart 17.’ The DOT Chart series provides guidance to the labels, marks, and placards that DOT enforces across its transport related agencies.  An update comes out every few years.  Chart #17 in the series has now appeared, and here’s the link.

OSHA

The agency published a final rule correcting what it cites as “minor errors” in the previously published final rule governing occupational exposure to the COVID-19 virus. See the corrections here.
