We head into the final week of August with high heat persisting in many areas of the country. The agency is extending the comment period regarding its NPRM’s that would impose new certification requirements on train dispatchers and signal service employees. The agency states that such certifications would help improve overall safety of railroad operations. The revised comment date deadlines are now in mid-September. Find details at the two links below:
