USDOT/PHMSA Issues Special Permit Actions

The United States Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) today issued a listing of actions pertaining to Special Permits, including those applied for, those granted or withdrawn, and those delayed more than 180 days. A variety of subjects are addressed, including those affecting the transport of explosives, living human tissues, and flammable gases, as well as domestic transport operations involving helicopters and other unique situations. If your company or its clients currently operate under or are affected by a USDOT/PHMSA Special Permit, you’ll want to review the new actions.
