- Take a strategic approach. An organization’s approach to automation will make or break its success. For organizations that want to become more automated and consistent in their DG processes, it boils down to a few key components: 1. Have the right data 2. Ensure the right processes are in place across the supply chain 3. Make your processes as efficient as possible 4. Enable proper deployment and adjust as needed.
- Automation takes a comprehensive approach. While automation is key to improving supply chain operations, many organizations have an incomplete and siloed view of what it takes to fully automate.
