DGIS is the industry event built for instructors and others in the training arena to share their experience and best practices. This is your event, so plan on coming prepared to get involved in workshop and plenary discussions. Given recent events such as the July 6, 2013 derailment in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, Canada, , perhaps it is time to challenge the training paradigm and look at ways for the industry to be more effective.
